The role
You will join OpenTrain as a German-English LLM Analytical Data Reviewer on a short contract to help fine-tune large language models. This role centers on reviewing, labeling, and creating analytical text scenarios to improve model reasoning, logical deduction, and data interpretation.
- Contract length: 1 week, 40 hours total per week.
- Schedule: flexible hours except for 4 hours daily overlap with UTC-8 (America/Los_Angeles).
- Work type: fully remote; text-only data (classification and evaluation/rating tasks).
- Employment: contractor, part-time/short-term engagement.
What you'll do
- Review, label, classify, and validate analytical text according to project guidelines.
- Answer analytical questions and create training scenarios that teach correct reasoning.
- Identify edge cases, discrepancies, and annotation issues and escalate when needed.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality while meeting productivity targets.
- Collaborate with the project team through written feedback and quality checks.
Requirements

Helpful background

- Experience writing professionally (business analyst, research analyst, copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, translator, etc.).
- Familiarity with Excel and Google Workspace.
- Comfort with basic arithmetic, data interpretation, and structured logical problems.
