About the role
we're looking for an engineer who wants to build systems, not just call models. this role sits where ML, product engineering, retrieval, reasoning, and UX meet. you'll go from embeddings and memory architectures to recommendation systems, agent workflows, eval pipelines, and real-time AI experiences.
Responsibilities
design and build AI-powered product experiences end to end.
develop retrieval, ranking, memory, and personalization systems
build agentic workflows on modern LLM frameworks
experiment with prompting, reasoning strategies, planning, and evaluation methods
design and maintain vector search, embeddings pipelines, and knowledge systems
build for low-latency inference and real-time AI workflows
analyze user behavior and improve performance through experimentation
shape engineering culture, tooling decisions, and mentor early hires
What we're looking for
you've actually wired up LLM APIs and modern AI tooling to build something real.
solid grasp of embeddings, vector DBs, retrieval, and RAG and the judgment to know when it's overkill
ML fundamentals and model evaluation
you ship things, not plans. your github has half-finished proof you can't stop building
strong ownership and curiosity
